You’ll love the phenomenal views overlooking downtown and the Channel. It’s the perfect spot to watch the giant freighters go through. Other visitors and guests will be envious of your spot during Manistee’s main events over July 4th or Sleighbell Weekend. Note: This is an upstairs apartment with no elevator available. * Please note as a downtown apartment, there is not dedicated parking. Please park on any of the nearby sidestreets. Parking downtown is permitted but should not be done during busy times in July and August, and especially during holidays or Sleighbell. AMENITIES: A/C window units, WIFI and cable TV in bedroom and living included. The kitchen is fully stocked for everyday meal prep. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glass, etc. dishwasher, and a drip coffee maker is available for guest use. Additional kitchen items include microwave, toaster, and ice maker. Also included: bed linens, bath towels, basic cleaning supplies, and soaps (not personal soaps), and a starter set of paper products. LOCATION: Doesn’t get any better than this! Apartment is located downtown Manistee, near the West End. Steps to all downtown shops, restaurants and the City Marina. About 1 mile from the popular Lake Michigan beach, very walkable on sidewalk or boardwalk along the river. About an hour south of Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City. Any request for additional time will depend on availability of the rental and an additional fee may be added to the stay. ARRIVAL: There is no formal check-in procedure. Arrival details are sent prior to your check-in date and will include the exact location of the property, parking and entry information. Guests will have a private, secure entrance and the rental is not shared by owners or other guests. DEPARTURE: We do have a very short checklist we ask renters follow upon departure. It includes making sure the property is left tidy, furniture is in the same place you found it, everything is closed, locked and turned off, and the thermostat is set properly. These items will only take a couple of minutes but help staff immensely. Please know that all rental policies and house rules are strictly enforced. This includes occupancy limits, age requirements, the ‘no parties’ and ‘no smoking’ clauses or any other rule posted online or within the rental. These are often defined by local ordinances, Homeowner’s Associations or other legal requirements and can result in fines or eviction if violated. We do not provide additional refunds for cancellations, late arrivals or early departures except as required in the posted cancellation policy.
